Round Tour
1st Day
Arrive at Katunayake International Airport and head towards Negombo, a coastal town with a nice beach just a short drive from the Airport. Spend the day relaxing at the beach and have a dip in the hotel pool. Stay overnight at star class beach hotel and prepare for next day to start roaming this magical island.​​​​​​
2nd Day​
Leave the hotel after a Sri Lankan style breakfast at the hotel and head towards Dambulla, a central town in the cultural triangle. En-route to Dambulla visit the Elephant orphanage in Pinnawela, where abandoned young elephants are nursed, fed and brought up .Reach Dambulla in the afternoon and overnight stay at a hotel.
3rd Day
Have an early breakfast and depart to Sigiriya, the famous ancient rock fortress built in 5th Century AD by King Kashyapa. The rock fortress is also known as the lion rock is considered to be the 8th wonder of the World which is famous for frescoes and is an archeological masterpiece. In the afternoon go for a wildlife safari at the Minneriya National park followed by an Elephant Ride in Habarana. Return to hotel after a tiresome day with wildlife and history.
4th Day​
Leave early morning to Polonnaruwa, the ancient second capital of Sri Lanka. Visit the ancient architectural remains built by 3 Kings and the famous artificial lake Parakrama Samudra. In the afternoon leave for the very first Capital City of Sri Lanka, Anuradhapura. Visit Sri Mahabodhiya temple where the very first Bodhi Tree considered to be the one of the oldest plants in the world. Anuradhapura is named as a World Heritage site by UNESCO and visitors can also witness the ancient monuments such as the Ruwanweli seya Dagaba, Mirisawetiya Dagaba, Tissawewa Lake , The Royal Park, Isurumuniya Temple, The Brazen Palace, Jetawanarama Dagaba, Thuparama Dagaba, Samadhi Buddha statue ,Kuttam Pokuna, Abhayagiri Dagaba etc. Return to hotel in the evening.
5th Day
After an early breakfast depart to Kandy the second largest city in the island. En- route to Kandy you can visit a spice garden in Aluvihara, Matale. Here you can get information and find various spices that Sri Lanka is famous for. You will also have the opportunity to buy spices here. In the afternoon you will reach Kandy, the second largest city in the country and famous for its climate, heritage and beauty. Relax in the hotel and prepare to explore Kandyan Kingdom the next day.​
6th Day
In the morning you will visit the famous Dalada Maligawa where the tooth relic of the Buddha is preserved. Dalada Maligawa is one of the most sacred religious sites of Buddhists in Sri Lanka. Adjoining the Dalada Maligawa you find the Kandy Lake which brings the beauty to this hill capital. Take a boat ride on this picturesque small lake and drive to Peradeniya. After the boat ride visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens which was built during the Kandyan Kingdom and later developed during the colonial era, it houses many varieties of tropical exotic and indigenous flora including Orchids, Cannas, Hibiscus, Crotons and colourful Bougainvilleas. In the evening return to the Kandy city to witness a cultural show which includes Dancers performing the Kandyan Dance. Return to hotel for Dinner​
7th Day
After a relaxing morning go on a shopping spree to the Kandy City. You can find plenty of boutiques selling handicrafts, antiques, batiks and gems. You will also visit a silk factory and a gem Museum. After shopping you will proceed to get away from the hustle and bustle from tye city to a more relaxing, cool & scenic location – Hunnasgiriya, a one hour drive from the city. Overnight stay at Hunas Falls Hotel.​
8th Day
Wake up early to witness the morning mist with sun rise. The Hunas falls hotel is situated in a scenic location in Hunnsagiriya surrounded by lush green mountains, tea estates, water falls, spice plantations and grasslands. Hunnasgiriya is a part of the vast mountain range, Knuckles which spans across two districts. Walk through the trails and explore the beauty of the Knuckles, have a bath at the nearby water streams, go bird watching in the lush jungle, visit a traditional Sri Lankan village, Meemure which is abundant with natural beauty and the rich lankan heritage. From Meemure you can also witness attractions such as Hulu Ganga River, Victoria Reservoir, , Dothalugala Forest and Botanical Garden, Mini Worlds End, Coberts Gap (Attala Mottuwa) etc. Return back to Hunas Fall hotel for Dinner and prepare for next day’s long Drive to Nuwara eliya​
9th Day
Early morning drive to Nuwara-eliya, the hill station located at an altitude of 1,868 m. On the way you will be amazed at the breath taking sceneries of meadows, valleys, mountains and Waterfalls. After about 90 minute drive you will start feeling aroma of “Pure Ceylon Tea” when passing the small township of Pussellawa, where tea estates are found on either side of the road. You will stop at Ramboda to have an early lunch while looking at the Ramboda Falls. Visit the Bluefield Tea Factory just passing Ramboda and learn how the world’s best tea is made. Reach Nuwara – eliya town in the evening and overnight stay at a hotel..
10th Day
Visit to Hakgala Botanical Gardens just a fews minutes away from the town in the morning. Enjoy the exotic flora grown there. Return to the Nuwaraeliya town and have boat ride at the Gregory Lake. Go for a walk around the Victoria Park and return for lunch. In the evening go golfing at one of Nuwara-eliya’s Golf Courses . Return to hotel for Dinner and overnight stay.
11th Day
Leave early morning to Ambewela , where cattles are fed in lush green meadows. Visit a Milk farm and watch learn how fresh milk is collected and processed. Then head towards Horton plains, a sanctuary park which consists of extraordinarily rich endemic plants. Sri Lankan Sambar Deers roam the park while other mammal species like Long-clawed Shrews, Toque Macaques, Purple-faced Langurs, Rusty-spotted Cat, Sri Lankan Leopards, Wild boars, Stripe-necked Mongooses, Sri Lankan Spotted Chevrotains, Indian Muntjacs, and Grizzled giant Squirrels are also seen here. Have a long trekking journey along the trails enjoying the chilling weather with the rich fauna & flora.
After a couple of hour walk you will reach the beautiful Bakers Falls. Also walk further and you will reach the key attraction here - the World’s End. It reveals a mesmerizing view of faraway mountains, creating an amazing escarpment. On a clear day you will be able to see as far as the Indian Ocean .Return to Hotel in Nuwara eliya after a tiresome day of adventure with nature.​​
12th Day
Have breakfast at the hotel and leave for Bentota. En route you will visit the famous St. Clair waterfalls in Thalawakele also known as the “ Little Niagara of Sri Lanka”. Have snacks and a cup of pure strong “ Ceylon Tea” at the St. Clair Tea Centre while enjoying the beauty of the waterfall. Then you will proceed to Kithulgala, a small township where the famous Hollywood film “ The Bridge on the River Kwai” was filmed. Have a Sri Lankan styled “Rice & Curry” lunch at the Kithulgala Rest House and go for white water rafting at the Kelani River . In the evening reach Bentota, a coastal town in the south western part of Sri lanka, famous for sunny Beaches. Dinner and overnight stay at a Beach hotel in Bentota.​
13th Day
After breakfast proceed to Galle, the capital of southern Sri Lanka. Visit the Galle fort, which is an UNESCO World Heritage site and the Galle Museum. Proceed to Hikkaduwa, the famous beach resort and Coral Sanctuary in the south coast of Sri Lanka. Take a glass bottom boat ride to watch the corals, also you can go snorkeling.Visit the Marine Turtle hatchery in Kosgoda, a conservation project that protects the endangered Marine Turtles of Sri Lanka. Observe process of marine turtles nesting, hatchlings being born, and swimming back to sea. Later visit Madu Ganga in Balapitiya to take a fascinating boat ride through little isles and mangroves in a lake. Return to hotel in Bentota for dinner and overnight stay.
14th Day
Spend some time in the beach and leave to Colombo, the Capital of Sri Lanka. Go on a shopping tour to Colombo’s big shopping Malls. Visit the Colombo Museum which is in possession of regalia of ancient kings, Sinhalese carvings & sculptures, antique furniture, chains, and Ola manuscripts. The museum contains more than 4,000 palm leaf manuscripts and ancient medieval jewellery, Also visit the Zoo in Dehiwela. Reach Negombo by evening to view sunset at the beach. Dinner and overnight stay in a Hotel in Negombo.
