Hill Country Tour
Day 1 : Kandy
Early morning landing at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo - after completion of the passport and customs formalities you will be warmly welcomed by your guide with the traditional "Ayubovan". Then to Kandy.
After checking into your hotel, take a city tour in the evening. Enjoy after the day's sightseeing ride around the lake, where an underground passage was built for his wife from the Royal Palace.
The impressive city of Kandy is located in the central mountains of Sri Lanka and has about 110,000 inhabitants. In Kandy visit a gemstone, a typical hand-held operation.
The landmark of the city is the famous Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa), which supposedly is the upper left canine tooth of the Buddha. . The last highlight of the day is the cultural dance show of Kandyan dancers.

Day 2: Kandy-Pinnawela - Kandy
After breakfast drive to Pinnawela and the Elephant Orphanage Pinnawela visit. Here injured animals warden maintained as well as orphaned and abandoned baby elephants lovingly cared for and trained for work. It is a real pleasure to watch the elephants being fed and the bath in the river.
Return to Kandy In Kandy you can enjoy while strolling through the famous Botanical Garden of Peradeniya, one of the most beautiful in Asia, lush tropical flora. The botanical garden covers 60 hectares and more than 4,000 different species of plants thrive there. Every year about 1.2 million people from home and abroad, this botanical paradise, which is the most beautiful botanical gardens in Asia.

Day 3: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
The 'Little England' of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations.
It is supposed to be one of the coldest places on the island, but is really just like an England spring day although the temperature does drop at night.
All around Nuwara Eliya you will see evidence of the British influence. Houses are like country cottages or Queen Ann style mansions.

Day 5: Nuwara Eliya to Bandarawela
Bandarawela is the second largest town in Badulla District which is 28 km away from Badulla city. Due to a higher altitude, Bandarawela has a cooler climate throughout the year.
Bandarawela is 210 km away from Colombo and about 150 km away from Kandy, Colombo and Kandy being two major cities in Sri Lanka. Both roads and railway transportation are available to reach the area.
Bandarawela town, tinted with a colonial past resting among lush forestation has found its niche among its visitors as a base for eco-tourism.
History of the Bandarawela area is coming from the time of great Sinhalese King Valagamba who fell back and regrouped in the Dhowa region to fight against Chola invaders.
